Claude Code plugins

Claude Code plugins for safer, faster work.

Five Claude Code plugins, installed from one marketplace. Two are Claude Code hooks that stop costly mistakes before they happen. Three add whole workflows: commit messages and pull requests in your repository’s style, technical SEO audits traced to the line that fixes them, and AI code review by parallel specialists.

03The basics

What a Claude Code plugin is made of.

A plugin bundles parts that would otherwise be set up one by one. Ours use four of them.

PartWhat it doesWhere it livesOur plugins that use it
HooksRun at set moments, such as before a tool call, and can block or askhooks/hooks.jsonFailSafe, KeySafe
CommandsWorkflows you start by name, such as /commitwise:commitcommands/*.mdCommitWise, SearchReady, CrossCheck
AgentsSpecialist subagents with their own instructions and toolsagents/*.mdSearchReady, CrossCheck
MCP serversOutside tools the plugin brings with it.mcp.jsonSearchReady (CrawlView), CrossCheck (HueProof)

04The marketplace

The Claude Code plugins marketplace, explained.

A marketplace is a JSON file listing plugins and where to fetch them. Add ours once and every plugin and skill we publish installs by name, with updates from the same place.

In Claude Code
/plugin marketplace add https://plugins.dudelemon.cloud/marketplace.json
/plugin install failsafe@dudelemon

# later, to pick up new versions
/plugin marketplace update dudelemon
marketplace.json, one entry
{
  "name": "dudelemon",
  "plugins": [{
    "name": "failsafe",
    "displayName": "FailSafe",
    "version": "1.0.0",
    "license": "MIT",
    "source": {
      "source": "archive",
      "url": "https://plugins.dudelemon.cloud/plugins/failsafe.zip",
      "sha256": "..."
    }
  }, ...]
}

05Side by side

The five plugins, and when each acts.

Two act on their own, as hooks; three run when you call them.

PluginActsWhat it doesSends anything off your machine

KeySafeBefore every edit, git add and commitKeeps live keys out of code and commitsNo

06Install

One marketplace for all of them.

Add the Dude Lemon marketplace to Claude Code once with /plugin marketplace add https://plugins.dudelemon.cloud/marketplace.json, then install any of our tools by name with /plugin install <name>@dudelemon.

Inside Claude Code2 commands, in order
/plugin marketplace add https://plugins.dudelemon.cloud/marketplace.json/plugin install failsafe@dudelemon

Run both commands inside Claude Code. The first adds the Dude Lemon marketplace once; the second installs the plugin.

07Why these

Built to be relied on, not just demoed.

Checks before it happens

FailSafe and KeySafe run as hooks: they see each command or file edit before it runs and block or ask when it would do damage.

Fits your repository

CommitWise reads your history and templates first, so messages and pull requests look like the ones your team already writes.

Specialists in parallel

CrossCheck runs security, accessibility and performance reviewers at the same time and keeps only findings it can confirm in the code.

Local by default

Hooks run on your machine. Only SearchReady and CrossCheck call our hosted MCP servers, and those receive a page address or color values, never your code.

FAQ

Claude Code plugins, answered

Anything we have not answered here, ask us directly. A senior engineer replies.

What is a Claude Code plugin?

A plugin packages slash commands, subagents, hooks and MCP servers so they install together. Hooks run before or after Claude uses a tool; commands and agents add workflows you call by name.

How do I install them?

Run /plugin marketplace add https://plugins.dudelemon.cloud/marketplace.json once in Claude Code, then /plugin install <name>@dudelemon. Plugins update from the same marketplace.

What do FailSafe and KeySafe need?

Node.js 18 or later and git. Their checks are small Node scripts that run locally on each command or edit and send nothing anywhere.

Will a hook ever block me by mistake?

Hooks block only clear cases, such as deleting a home folder or committing a live Stripe key. Anything uncertain asks you instead, and you can approve it on the spot.

Are they free?

Yes. All five plugins are free and MIT licensed.
